Okay, so once again it's been over a month since I've posted. Since then, not too much has happened I guess. We had Mother's Day, so I'll post a couple pics from that. I've been continueing to run somewhat, although it isn't going as well as it had been. I started having problems with my hips hurting while I ran, which I was dealing with, but then when I did 8 miles a couple weeks ago, I started having a problem in my left knee. Ever since then, I haven't been able to run too much. I missed a 9 mile run the next Sunday. I did do 7 miles last Sunday, but haven't run at all this week. This Sunday is 10 miles, so I don't know about that. I've been seeing a chiropracter and yesterday saw a Physical Therapist. Basically, I need to relearn how to walk because my knees turn in and don't track the way they need too, and running just was too much for them in that pattern. Oh sure--relearn how to walk. That doesn't sound too hard. I've only been walking this way for 36 or so years, depending on how old I was when I learned to walk. It's a little frustrating because I finally was getting into this running thing, and now, I really want to do it, and I really want to meet that goal of the Portland marathon, but I don't know if that is going to happen this year or if it can ever happen. Maybe my knees just can't do that distance, but I would at least like to get back to running comfortably, so I could at least train for maybe 10 and 15k's. It is true that this gets into your blood. We'll see how it goes.
Justin had his preschool graduation yesterday--complete with caps and gowns. He was so cute. They had a program, and he came up to the microphone with other kids for 3 or 4 songs, and he had one song where he did a solo part, and it was so precious. Maybe I can figure out how to download the video and put that on here. His teachers are always telling me what a good voice he has--"like an angel" they'd say. He did a good job. So he is done with school for the year. I can't believe he's in Kindergarten next year. It will be nice to have him and Hannah at the same school right behind our house. Hannah still has about 3 weeks of school to go. Here are some pics from his graduation:

Here is a photo of Hannah with a fish she caught at Grandpa Mike's in the pond. Justin had actually hooked it first (at least we think it was the same fish) but lost it, and then Hannah hooked it and managed to reel it in. It was a 19-1/2" trout leftover from last summer. Uncle Ryan actually cleaned it and we bbq'd it whole the next day and had it for dinner. Hannah, especially liked it.
