Was that Spring?

In my last post, I asked where is spring. Well last weekend, we got a taste of it--it was actually almost summer like with near 80 deg. weather on Sat., but starting Monday things went downhill again. It's actually been pretty typical for Spring this week with sunbreaks and rain showers and not warm but not cold temps., but this weekend they are predicting---SNOW! What!??? It probably won't snow down here, but it is sure to be cold. I wouldn't be as bothered by it if it weren't for the fact that I need to run tomorrow (Friday) and Sunday morning at 8:00 AM. Such is life in the Pacific Northwest.

I've been running for 3 weeks now, and it has been good. We did 5 miles last Sunday (only need to be able to keep going for 21 more). Next Sunday, we do 6. During the week, I run for 3 days (although I have missed a couple) for 30-40 minutes. The distances and minutes I run will just keep increasing until supposedly I will be capable to run a marathon. I definitely feel more confident than I did when I started, and I do enjoy it for the most part once I'm out there, especially on Sundays running with Heather, but getting myself out there is hard, especially when it's raining and cold. The majority of my training though I will probably spend complaining about the heat. I hope this is one summer that we don't hit record breaking temps.

No pics or anything exciting today. Just thought I'd update on my running. I need to start keeping a miles logged update in the sidebar.
